city offer nasri 180k a week

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nasri has three choices:
1) go to Man United to win prizes
2) go to Man City to earn big money
3) stay at Arsenal to get neither of them

Let me be quite clear and state that I was in no way abusive towards Hlebby in the PM that I sent to him and I am sure that Hlebby would concur with this.

Sorry Hlebby I posted this before I saw your earlier reply requesting people to read previous posts before starting a new thread

i don't know but maybe its time to reflect on our future signing policy.given the new rules that are being imposed by euefa and the semmingly never ending side show of AFC foriegn players leaving or not ,perhaps we should ratchet down the type of player we buy.there are some really good players out there in the prem, who a talented manager with tactical nous could turn into a winning team.players who would walk over hot coals to play for AFC or indeed any top club.remember marwood, williams, groves, limpar, dixon ,bould, the list is endless .this type of character does'nt agitate for better terms or moves, they are proud pro's and know when they are onto a good thing.how much longer can we carry on loosing the mainstays of the team through greed and ambition.the greed we can't do anything about but if we are back where we should be ,the ambition will be to play 1st team football for AFC.

In fairness a lot of our 'players' know when they're on to a good thing too...

Problem is wages.

Too many on to highier wage to even care. If Denilson, Diaby or Bentdner fuck up why should they care....there still getting 50K+.
Same can be said if there sitting on the bench.

Should be an appearence fee.
Each player gets a basic...say £10,000
If you play you then get an extra £40-60K on top. I'm sure you'd soon see a shift from half the players.

The idiot doesn't even recognise when someone is being funny!!

And for the record, I only threatened to 'give him a slap' the once. It's not something I make a habit of but on this occasion I believe I had very good reason to do so.

Anyway, as gooner.ed suggested last week, it's probably best that we no longer reference that individual on this forum.

Well fuck it - I'm not going to give as much of a toss anymore and that way will not allow this thing to take up as much energy and time in my life as it has done up to now. After that, as the saying goes: 'Que sera, sera'.
well I think you do a very good job of keeping this place more or less organized and within the rules, hlebby. and i'm sure that while some people complain, the 99% that makes the rest of us are actually pretty glad with the job the mods do here, not only you but also db10, rebel and co.

i can understand that it must be a pain the ass to do a job for free and still get abuse, but on the other hand you can just tell everyone to fuck off and do what you think it's best and right...
Speak for yourself, I vote Tony Saunders.

I think we should add Denilson, Eboue, Bendtner, Clichy, Flappianski and Al to that list as well 8)
