The news we all wanted to hear

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He'll probably end in our masters team one day alongside David Hillier.

A real shame in a way, I was looking forward to him getting booed and jeered to fuck next season until he was totally destroyed...

A sad day for Arsene FC, statistically our best midfielder

I just hope that they pay all his wages, although I very much doubt that they will pay the alleged £50k a week he's on, so even though he is temporarily gone he will still be a burden on the Club as I'm sure we will be paying a big percentage of his wages, and of course after the loan deal expires he will be back again, and then Wenger can claim that it is just like a 'new signing' in the summer of 2012.

I dont care if he was a nice kid.He was a shite footballer taking home more money in a year £2.5m than any of us will earn in a lifetime. He deserves every bit of stick his is given. How Wenger gave him a £50k a week contract is beyond belief

Highlight of his career getting overtaken by the referee when chasing Rooney

Amazing decline from a player who looked incredible in his early Carling Cup performances, Liverpool away he looked way ahead of Fabregas at the same age.

It would seem he peaked at age 17, sad but not unusual in football.

Can't remember who it was against but my favourite moment was the time at the Emirates when he collapsed like a sack of spuds on the halfway line with nobody near him.

The only thing in his favour is that he is the only player to take on a shot in and around the box.

Not a fan and will not miss him but it's not his fault that Wenger decides he is worth 50k a week.

Thank God for this tiny piece of good news - one shite player out and only about 7 more to follow!!

But we must never forget that, whilst Denilson was proper, proper shite he didn't pick himself nor did he hand himself a £2.5 million a year contract. Wenger needs shooting for the way he's filled our squad with these sub-standard bottle-jobs!
