The Pre-Season match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Next summer!!! Very hopeful!!!

It'll start at half-time. They'll have someone waiting for him between the pitch and the dressing room, enticing him with tales of sunshine, paella and trophies.

I wish Walcott would sometimes take a touch towards goal when he's in that position on the corner of the box. With his pace he'd end up through 1v1 all the time.

Whenever he gets it there his touch always takes him a foot or so away from goal so he has a tougher shot or just has to hang it up.

Toothless? Fairly harsh, he's working very very hard creating space for the wide men, not had any service as yet

Of course we're not! Uncle Arsole Wenger says we have a 'massive squad', it can't be a problem! :banghead:

This performance bodes well for a successful defence of the Emirates Cup.

30 fcuking minutes and he takes gervinho off  Wtf :banghead:

I wont go over the top praising gervinho cos after all it is only a friendly but surely these are the games to bed in new players to the team ? It is all well and good training but you need to develop understandings on match days
