If getting knocked out by udinese didnt mean us going into the europa crap league then would be quite happy to see us knocked out - major player unrest, continual collapses at the business end of the seasons, media criticism and some real signs of supporters turning back on this team and manager hasnt seemingly got the message across to wenger and the board about how serious a crisis we are currently in so maybe it is time for them to get the message in the only way that they will understand........a major loss in revenue  Something has to change and a bad start to the season and leading to supporter unrest is the only way things can change and sometimesw you have to sacrifice short term pain for long term gain

As I expressed on the CanadianGunners tweet, the Udinese draw will force Arsenal to have a proper start to the season.

Worse case scenario, we get knocked out of a distracting competition we probably can't win anyway, and possibly get some heads turned far enough to warrant a shakeup within the organization.

So, blessing in disguise. However, of the last 3 meaningful draws, Arsenal have got the hardest team every time (Barca 2010, Barca 2011, now Udinese in the qualifier). Bad luck hey...?

and all 3 of those draws are Wenger's fault for not closing out a league/group position when we had the chance. Unlucky? Definitely not.

Not really bad luck.

Because with Barca 2011 we should not have finished in 2nd place...and this year it's not bad luck that we are in this draw. And in the prvious years, we didn't get that difficult draws in the qualifiers.

Apart from that, yes, bad luck.

Our seasons over at the start of August, let alone the end of it

Lots of people were saying "it's only Birmingham" back in February.

Birmingham were so cack that they got relegated but they still managed to beat us when the pressure was on.
Yeah, Wengers love child Wozza said that we would spank Birmingham by 4 or 5 :awnker:

Because remain "captaincy is overplayed...."

F**king hell :banghead: :banghead:

£377 for a one night trip. They really are so out of touch up in their ivory tower. They must think we all live in castles and drink champagne for breakfast - like the Directors all do!!

Anyway, I'll be sending my Butler along to N5 to collect my tickets before my sedan chair arrives to convey me to the airport. A gold plated Gondola should suffice once I get to Venice . . . . . .

Not sure why or how anyone would/can pay that sort of money for the game that it is.

Maybe for a CL final.

Is not the best time to fly to Italy, I am struggling to find flights much under £200 return then you have to pay to get across Italy and for a hotel.

Well exactly. Our luck has been pretty good in the CL up until recently. Remember that we have faced the mighty Croatia Zagreb, FC Twente and Celtic at this stage previously when we could have got much harder draws on each occasion.

If we do get through we'll then be a top seed, a position that virtually ensures progress in the dumbed down CL group stages these days. We'll get two teams of the standard of Thun, Partizan, Braga etc.

It's about time the CL stopped rewarding mediocrity.

Couldnt find it anywhere else so thought I would post on here. Does anybody know if this is used as one of the cup credits for our season ticket as it is only a qualifier?

Cannot find any info on the website whatsoever as to whether or not our cards will be activated or not?
