WHAT PLAYERS DO YOU REALLY NOT GET?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

schmeichael was always over-rated for me - yes he was good at those star jumps but he was shite at dealing for crosses and it never really got highlighted

jamie cunting redkrapp was another over-rated tosser imo - when he started out I thought that he could have been a top top player but after a while he was just like denilson......passing for passing sake and a lot of them sidewards too

gary ratface neville was an over-rated dirty cuntbag whose nationality brought him plaudits that were never deserved

Teddy Sheringspam. Not just cos he's the world's joint-biggest *word censored* with Brian McClair, but that whole "he might not be quick but he’s got an extra yard of space in his head" ***** commentators always used to come out with. Of course he's got a yard of space in his head you numpty, cos it's fucking empty.

Those muppets at the Lane and a few other 'experts' were raving about Sandro last year.

All I can say is that I hope he improved upon his performance against us at the Lane in the Carling Cup. Jesus - he makes Squillaci look mobile

Scott Parker - looks good in rubbish teams. He used to be quite a dynamic midfielder for Charlton but he's now just a glorified clogger. Look at all those top PL clubs queuing up to buy him.

Steven Gerrard - produces the odd banzai performane to rescue Liverpool but lacks tactical discipline, is inconsistent and has never done it at international level.

Shay Given - a spectacular-looking goalkeeper but he's mediocre on crosses, doesn't command his area and doesn't come off his line quickly. It's no surprise that Joe Hart, a novice, quickly kept Given out of the Man City team. Any defence Given has played behind has always been a shambles.
