I Predict More Riots

You 'predict' more riots - is that a euphemism for you'd ‘like to see more riots’? Facts are facts, this guy was carrying a gun. Nothing changes that. Now we have to listen to nonsense from so called community leaders that he was 'a good guy'. There are not many 'good guys' I know walking around London packing a gun. As for the thugs who smashed up shops, burned out homes and intimidated other members of the public, they did not do so out of some desire to fight for justice or to defend their community from a brutal police state. They did it because they have no morals, no values and could not care less about anyone but themselves (attitudes they have often picked up from their parents).

Where were they on the so called ‘peaceful march’? Only 150 people were concerned enough to attended that but there were certainly more people on the streets at midnight setting fire to police cars and looting. Local residents reported that some in the streets were as young as 9 and 10. Where were their parents? Therein lies another issue at the heart of all this. Too many young men going around town, knocking up girls and then taking no responsibility for their off-springs (it is interesting to note that Duggan's brother has a different surname. Ordinarily not a point worth making but in the context of the problems faced in inner cities around the UK it is relevant). Absent fathers in the black community has become a sub-culture of many parts of London – and of course we pay for it financially and as a society (bring on the accusations of racism now – or listen to Diane Abbot who says exactly the same thing). Young men need fathers to act as role models, not to flit in and out of their lives when it suits them (if at all). As for unemployment in the area, many of these same people don't work because it is a lifestyle choice - why do so when idiots like us go out to work and pay our taxes that in turn pay their benefits. Why get a job when it is easier to mug, burgle, deal drugs or rob from vulnerable people. When have they ever 'peacefully demonstrated' against the number of street crimes, burglaries, muggings, gang rapes? Never. Because they are not interested. Frankly, rather than police amnesties to take guns off the streets, they should give these scum bags more guns so they can shoot each other and be done with it.

He didnt shoot at the copper at all though. Ballistics have come back saying it was a police issue bullet. He shot at nobody, possibly didnt even pull a gun or even possess one and was shot dead in cold blood.

I think we need to take the facts into consideration first. Clearly a young man father of four was killed, and then the circumstances have been fabricated by the police, not the first time this has happened eg Tomlinson or murder of the Brazilian man after 7/7 both by the Met.

When the police blatantly lie, there is no reason to believe them until the facts of the case are established. Thomas Mitchell I think you are wide of the mark in some of your views.

As for the riots the last view nights. Things like this snowball. There are of course alot of criminals and scum that use this sort of thing as a hobby. But there is also the fact, that alot of young people now have very little going for them and because of college fees and several other factors, have little chance to better themselves. There are alot of angry people at the system out there.

Diane Abbott - you don't like/respect her so that is proof I am way of the mark? If you don't accept that absent fathers is part of the problem then so be it but it is the truth. Fact is young men who have no father active in their lives are more likely to fail at school, fail in employment and have a criminal record.

Good guy - no one who carries a gun is a good guy. He has been in trouble with the police before. So how am I of the mark?

The police have lied - so that is proof they are lying now?

Dog handlers - you have obviously researched this and compared their dog handling skills to those of many police authorities across the world, so I will have to take your word for it.

The reality is that too many people, like you, are prepared to act as apologists for these people. Usually the most guilty of this (ironically) are white, middle class do-gooders who live far from the incidents but are desperate to prove their PC credentials.
