Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Give The OX a chance, from what I have seen he looks the business and if he is even half the player his dad was then we have a good talent.

We really should embrace a new signing not slag it off, after all you never know he may be a sensation.

Well its obvious, fuck defence, Wenger wants to win every game 10-9.

Or maybe he's going for the 2016/17 title?

Great. That's the youth bit.

Now can we have some experience too.

Admittedly, Wikipedia is a dubious source but I did say 'apparently', rather than assert it, to try to avoid ridicule!

I'm kind of hoping it is true though. A nice little fact if so.

I wish him well and IF he's that good then I'd rather him at Arsenal then anywhere else but.....

We've already proven that we desperately need experience. I can totally sympathise with all the ‘meh’ comments as without knocking him already he will fail without the experienced support around him….and that’s not his fault.

I am not ridiculing you.
I just wondered because I did not know Mark Chamberlain was a grandson of Neville Chamberlain.

Promised a big name and there are 17 letters in his name, wont get bigger than that. Seriously he looks strong and he is welcome, I just wish it was a proven central defender we were talking about today,

Anyone else feel the fee of 12m for a 17 year old from Div 3 is a tad ridiculous.

Considering we bid the same for a peak Phil Jagielka...?
