Can't ever recall disagreeing with you beforeAFCWozza wrote:Is this Sarcasm as well mate, or do you genuinly agree with me for the first time ever?!!SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:see that is what we should ALL be sayingAFCWozza wrote:Delighted with this signing, superb talent, looking exciting with Gervinho, Miyaichi and Chamberlain, players who will actually run at people and take them on, exactly what we need if we are persisting with this 4-3-3 formation.
I dont expect this signing to be a replacement for Nasri, and i dont expect this to be the signing of real quality we are all anticipating. Wenger has come out and said we will sign more, lets hope its sooner rather than later

I was pro-gervinho, because we had no real wingers, and it was early in the window, there was time to get other players.
Right now, time is running out, and I fear wenger feels that business is done, and once again defence is on his priorities.
All for seeing more brits in the side, but never as a consquence of not signing experienced players in positions we need.

Glad to see him sign for us, hope he proves useful in the season ahead, now can we please sign a defender so we can at least have some tny bit of hope for the season.
Wonder if Gazidis will claim this signing is proof of our active summer, which has seen only 3 signings and only two of the utter shite gotten rid of.

I'm kind of hoping it is true though. A nice little fact if so.
I just wondered because I did not know Mark Chamberlain was a grandson of Neville Chamberlain.

I wish him all the best but this is simply not what the Club needs right now. We need experience, leadership and proven quality - not another kid. Yes he may be one for the future - but as Arsenal fans we have seen the future under this manager and it never arrives. Just another example of how Wenger has lost the plot and is no longer the man to take this Club forward.
and the only genuine top top quality player is Jack, which you could see from when he was 16, if not younger. Ramsey could turn out to be a very good player but could also fade away into mediocrity. Walcott will always be a luxury player nothing more. The others will more than likely never amount to much except the Ox, who we'll need to give at least 12 months before we have a better idea. We'll have the best reserve team around!
