Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to sign

When is Wenger gonna sign a decent keeper or a decent centre half ?????

Oxo Chamberlain might be a decent prospect but how the f**k are we ever gonna compete with Man Utd unless we sign players (and a defensive coach) that can keep the ball out of our net??

I'm happy that we signed someone but would have preferred signing someone that stands a chance of starting games sometime soon. Have a feeling Wengers not planning on playin him saturday for instance :banghead:

I fear that Wenger will put away his little purse and feel quite happy that his summer spending is done. I can see him sitting there all happy and content thinking all is rosey -

Thanks to his great foresight Szczesny is now first choice (and not a fortunate 'accident'

Vermaelen is back. Why spend more money on a CB when he is like a new signing!!!

Gervinho will fire in 30 goals in his first season and remain injury free!!!

Fabregas and Nasri will not sulk at all and will fight tooth and nail from the first game of the season.

Why waste money on other players who are not needed :banghead:

We really should embrace a new signing not slag it off, after all you never know he may be a sensation.
Possibly.....in about 5 years!!!
I am not slagging the lad off,but what we need NOW is proven players that we can mix these young lads in with!!!

I don't think anyone is really slagging him off, just that there appears to be too much focus on these type of signing at the expense of what we actually need now.

If Wenger proved once again that he could make this signing, and the quality we need at the same time, then I think people would be happier.

I feel that Wenger has passed that stage, and is really caught up in his own belief system.

Who's he going to learn from Walcott?

We've spent a Southampton club record on this kid, when the money could've been better used towards strengthening our SHITE defence.

can somebody please explain, over the past however many years we have signed young exciting players with great potential. I have lost count how many, allegedly many clubs were chasing them.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY ALL ?????

If Fergie has signed him what are the chances a lot of you would have been moaning? Very high I reckon. Of course we need a defender, hopefully it'll come.

Maybe we will play a beach football league if we get knocked out of Europe early.

Replacement for Nasri?....I would actually be happy with that as Chamberlain seems very direct, can take a tackle and seems prepeared to take responsibility when it counts.
