I honestly cant see us winning a trophy in the next 10+ years which is a sad indictment. Wenger helped bring the club back to the glory days, then lit the match and has watched us burn for 6 yearsfranksav63 wrote:Of course not, it'll be ferretted away like the Greedy and Toure money was....probaby in the back pockets of the board and the manager.Deise Gooner wrote:Will the combined 50m be spent before the the end of next week when our season hits a crtical point

ITS ALL COMING OUT NOW
It's crunch time now ,if hew can get some good players in before the deadline we could be in great shape !
If we dont then its mid tablesville Arizona !
Im to old to get excited but lets see how things come down before the write the season off .

Herd is right. As far as players leaving goes, we all think along the same lines but lets see what he does now. I'm glad he's looking at English players as after all the namby pamby poncy stuff we've had to put up with, we need some steel.
However, i also think he needs a marquee signing now he's letting Fabregas and the greedy little French *word censored* go.

Looking and bidding (and eventually buying) are two different things in Wenger La La land.... and even his bidding is flawed these days....SPARKSY wrote:Herd is right. £60m in from the 2 sales, probably spend £20m and then use the rest to put another dent in the mortgage. He's desperate to pay it off before he leaves so that 'we can compete with the best in Europe'franksav63 wrote:Of course not, it'll be ferretted away like the Greedy and Toure money was....probaby in the back pockets of the board and the manager.Deise Gooner wrote:Will the combined 50m be spent before the the end of next week when our season hits a crtical point
