Now Nas is off

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He is fucked Frank, we will be shot of him soon, and I can't fucking wait. Roll on Saturday and let the debacle begin.

Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Enjoy the bench at Citeh.

I honestly cant see us winning a trophy in the next 10+ years which is a sad indictment. Wenger helped bring the club back to the glory days, then lit the match and has watched us burn for 6 years :banghead:

I'm glad he's going if true, we cannot afford to let him go for free next season.

However, the pressure will REALLY be on Wenger if they do both go. At last, the end of the Wenger joke years could be in sight!

Herd is right. As far as players leaving goes, we all think along the same lines but lets see what he does now. I'm glad he's looking at English players as after all the namby pamby poncy stuff we've had to put up with, we need some steel.
However, i also think he needs a marquee signing now he's letting Fabregas and the greedy little French *word censored* go.

Looking and bidding (and eventually buying) are two different things in Wenger La La land.... and even his bidding is flawed these days....

£60m in from the 2 sales, probably spend £20m and then use the rest to put another dent in the mortgage. He's desperate to pay it off before he leaves so that 'we can compete with the best in Europe'

If it is £22M it is good money for a talented but inconsistent player.
