What a load of usual bollocks.... Wenger is the biggest lying *word censored* ever.... waited in especially to hopefully hear some words of hope and wisdom, but this waste of space of a man never lets me down....spin and bollocks that comes flowing out of his mouth... *word censored*!!!!!!

Yes they did, but Dalglish put more points on the board when he came in than Wenger did in the same time. And had he come in 4 or 5 games earlier then they would have finished above us.

So what you've done is taken Dalgliesh's best stats and made a comparison with Wenger's worst stats of the season and made some assumption that Dalgleish's form figures would have extrapolated into earlier games.

Well based on that, if Arsenal's form had repeated itself from the first 10 games of the season, we would have won the league. We didn't which makes your assumptions ridiculous as well.

Liverpool had a poor season rescued by the performance of Luis Suarez in the second half of the season, but they still failed.

Also Dalgleish got the benefit of new manager syndrome, so if you give Wenger the same new manager syndrome benefit then we would have been champions as well.

Both of my arguments above are silly, but just the same as yours. You can manipulate stats which ever way you want to, to make a case for your argument but one stat that doesn't lie is the Premier League Table.

Back to the point of the conversation, the BBC website has done some very neat editing of the press conference to suit their own ends. You have to watch Wenger's expressions to get the full meaning behind his words

I watched it and thought 'is he having a fucking laugh?' When questioned on did he expect Nasri and Fabregas to leave he replied ' I expect nobody to leave' Apart from telling us Jack is out of tomorrow and RVP will have a test today he told us all the usual fuck all. Oh and he also said we have a big squad. He should do stand up comedy he would bring the fucking house down

This deceitful old man is paid Â£7million a year to manage Arsenal FC but we "have to watch his expressions to get the full meaning behind his words".

His mis-management of our club is appalling - the Fabregas saga overshadows our entire off season but we still lose our Captain and best player the day before the season starts, for the same money we were offered 15 months ago.

The Nasri situation is a joke as was Flamini's departure.

Our collapse last season was spectacular, even by our all too familiar standards. Our defending is a total joke but Wenger keeps saying everything is alright, and he keeps buying more tippy-tappy lightweight forwards rather than some decent defenders.

I could go on - but all you say is "we need to to look at his expression". We need to see his back as he leaves us and allows a new man to restore our pride.

I don't disagree with any of what you say. Although I feel more of it is to do with a weak chief executive than it is a poor manager.

All I am saying is that words alone on the BBC website didn't tell the whole picture. For example when I saw him say "I expect no players to leave", you also see the curved smile on his face which to me says that he is lying through his teeth and that he knows players will leave

"Cesc is not on strike. Cesc is not injured, he's not match fit. I don't want to go any deeper than that," he added.

"Nasri went for the national team, he was sick, and he has not completely recovered yet. There are no other aspects why he is not in the squad.

"I believe the best for us, one day before the Championship to start, is not to focus on possible transfers."

He treats us fans with complete and utter contempt. He might feel that he is being smart with the journalist concerned but it is us lot that want to hear the truth and the journalist is only asking what we all want to ask.

I pray that this foolish man is forced to go this season because it is so sad to see the man that gave us the Invincibles turning into this joke figure.

No one leaving, BIG CLUBS look at our players..(thought we are a big club), big squad....I am forever grateful for what Mr.Weger had done for our club, and what he has done for football. But he has lost it, he is deluded and it's not nice to watch. He should have been let go in May, now he will lead us further down the road to ruin and the mess and fallout will be massive. The Club are to blame for allowing it to get this far.

How can a player, out for 4 months or so with a nothing injury, be excused from the first league game of the season for not being "match fit", when he wasnt played in any pre season friendly?

How could he possibly get match fit without playing any match?

It's quite funny, but really I'm past laughing because it's shows he takes us fans for idiots that can't see through his tried rhetoric.

As much as we despite the red nosed wanker, Ferguson would not treat his fans like this and wind them up 24 hours before the start of the season.
The 2 wantaways would have been sold on 1 July and as he has already done, he would have identified who they needed, asked the other club for a price and paid it.
Why does Wenger think it's amusing to treat us like fuckwits?

I think sometimes it's better to see/hear him actually say it than to pick up on selective quotes online. Don't get me wrong some of what he's been coming out with is crazy regardless but the media do like to make Wenger appear a certain way. IMO this is why he acts like he does with the journo's.
