Could the release of cesc actually improve our team?

Yes losing your best player is always a good thing and can only make the team better

No chance of improvement but certainly a chance of top 4 if a few signings are made with that cash.

Losing Cesc could improve our team if the money is spent on a good replacement, but that will be very hard to find.

The knock against Cesc was lack of pace but he more than made up for that with everything else in his game.

He was a good playmaker and was an extremely good plyer about 2 seasons ago. But it ws obvious last season that he had lost his passion will and desire to play for Arsenal. Especially after losing to bloody birmingham in the ccf! He then started to weaken as an Arsenal player and Nasri (I know his future for Arsenal is doubtful atm) RVP Wilshere and Djourou started to shine. Maybe not too brightly but at least a glow. So without him in the limelight they could excell. We do need a few more signings. Especially to fill that hole we now have in the midfield but thats all we need and maybe when wilshere returns from injury he can live up to that job

we will sign no one. why does everyone seem to think that there will be 3 signings coming within the next 2 weeks? what has happened in the last 6 years to make you believe that these signings will happen? we will sign no one and the team is no where near as good without fabregas as they were with him.

Oh. My. God.

That is, the biggest and most ridiculous pile of shit I've ever wasted 15 seconds of my life reading.

I'm not even going to bother to explain where you've gone wrong there save for one word,

Everywhere.

FFS Cesc had 14 assists last season(3rd highest in the prem) compared to 3 from Jack.Lost his passion and desire. What does that make Wilshire then?

Go ahead and chant whatever you want. It will have no impact whatsoever. 60,000 people shouting "spend some fucking money" will have as much impact on Wenger as trying to bash your brains in with a runner bean!

Do not expect any signings to happen until after the CL qualifier. If we are successful he'll spend a bit, but not much. If not, he'll spend nothing and claim it was too late to get anyone!

I get annoyed at this blokes constant claims that players are not worth the prices clubs want for them. I actually agree in some respects, many of them are not. Unfortunately though if you want them then you've just got to payit!

Think of it like this. An iPhone is not worth £400 but if you want one then you have to spend £400! If not, you can get a knackered old one for £200 or an inferior motorola for £150. Neither will ever perform as well as an iPhone!

I think tonights game against Udinese shows that we have/will lose the major central creative players in Fabregas and Nasri. Wilshere and Ramsey are players who tend to drive and run with the ball. Song and Frimpong are not really attacking Midfielders and Rosicky...well...I don't really know what he has become.

So, unless some new, creative central midfield players come in (unlikely IMO) I can't see how we can be better without Fabregas :(

cesc didnt play in the carling cup final he was injured against stoke remember, the biggest reason why we lost. We were nervous and totally impotent in attack.

No, it wasn't the biggest reason we lost. The biggest reason was because two cocks forgot to talk to each other and fell over.
