mainly multiple statements by the board +Boomer wrote:Based on what?highburyJD wrote:to me it seems pretty obvious
obviously we will find out who is right and wrong soon
multiple statements by the manager
but also
Cesc, Denilson, Vela no longer being in the squad
the probability of Nasri leaving
simultaneous suspensions to Song, Frimpong and Gervinho
simultaneous injuries to Wilshere, Djourou, Gibbs, Traore and Koscielny
Based on the fact that the transfer window will close in 9 days timehighburyJD wrote:mainly multiple statements by the board +Boomer wrote:Based on what?highburyJD wrote:to me it seems pretty obvious

Frimpong turning up might reduce the number we sign
we have signed Campbell up front to add to Gervinho, Ox, Miyachi and Jenkinson
I would be extremely surprised and disappointed if we dont move significantly in the transfer market
Prepare to be both.highburyJD wrote:it seems obvious to me we have to make signingsgoonersid wrote:Based on the fact that the transfer window will close in 9 days timehighburyJD wrote:mainly multiple statements by the board +Boomer wrote:Based on what?highburyJD wrote:to me it seems pretty obvious

This is how I feel. Doesn't take 5 minutes to sign a player if you really really want to sign him. Robinho to City, VDV to Spurs etc in the past shows it can be done late!highburyJD wrote:we have to pray for Weds
then Thurs/Fri are the key days
if we are in the CL groups we can bid for a diff type of player than if we are in the Europa
As long as we get in the CL we have a chance. Failure and we will be sniffing around all the old shit Redknapp doesn't want.

lets do a deal
if we make no further signings (beyond the 4/5 we have made so far)
I will attend the Swansea game wearing an "I am a *word censored*" (correctly spelt) t-shirt - multiple pictures with people pointing and laughing will be provided
if we sign anybody you will do the same
and by the way I don't change tact (I guess you men tack)
if circumstances change my opinion does
If no signings are made after the manager and board have suggested more players are coming I would be angry
please try and avoid the slightly pathetic homo-erotic insults
I find your tone rather distasteful

What reports are these then? Wenger wouldn't spend 23M on Lionel Messi! People should just accept that he's not going to make any more signings - he's just said himself that we've already replaced Cesc and Nasri with Ox and Gervinho! I don't quite know what's happening with Arsene but I am certain he is having some sort of breakdown because everything he says at the moment is absolute bollocks!
