Just heard from a very reliable source who works at City airport that this guy has just flown in to London. Don't know for certain that he's going to Arsenal (could just as well be Chelsea/Spurs etc as he refused to speak to my mate), but it would be a classic Wenger signing:

Suggestion.......do a google search, type in french and or african players with a value less than 10m, look for names you might recognise or know of by reputation and cross those names out, write out the rest of the names on pieces of paper, put them into a hat and draw out two of them and chances are you have just stumbled on wenger's next two signings

On a serious level there is no chance we will sign anybody today as our contingent will be "a little bit jaded physically" after travelling back from italy last night plus our power brokers (

) will be at the champs league draw this evening as well. We all know that not alone do we need signings but we need them asap so that they can be available for sunday or we will get an absolute hiding so that is a sure sign that wenger will not sign anybody before this weekend and it will be bite your fingernails time again next wednesday

One midfield signing to come in, on the evening of the final day of the transfer window so Wenger can try to save 50p. He will be French and 'unknown' with a couple of U-21 caps. 23-26 years old, plays for Nancy, Nice, Rennes or Sochaux.
