I have no confidence that we will actually buy anyone....but I also wouldn't read too much into Wenger's comments.
Everyone knows that we have the cash so if he also appears desparate then we could end up paying ridiculously inflated fees (as Liverpool have done). He will be using the media in any negotiations.
Lets face it, I think other clubs will already be well aware that Wenger will walk away if the demands are seen as unreasonable.

I have not rated Rosicknote since just after his first decent spell and then the long term "injury"
but have to say in preseason and so far this season he has looked vastly improved when played in the centre. Not saying he is great but if he got a good run of games in the centre then who knows? We might actually see a decent player...
