Interesting this - as some have said I've not posted for a while and that's true, nothing sinister about it just haven't!
I have read the thread SACK WENGER NOW ? YOU MUST BE MAD ! and the theme continues from this one really save for the dual personality thing and BTW having a differing opinion to the next man does not make you deluded!
I don't know whether it is the board that's the problem or if it's Wenger - if it is the board then replacing Wenger may not change things and as the board have already indicated they will seek counsel with Wenger on his replacement when that time does come things may not change any time soon.
I don't think I could get to the stage where I slag Wenger off as much as some on here but I do see your points and agree with an awful lot of them - is he acting in the best interest of the club as a football manager or as a business man? Surely we employ people to tell the manager of a football club what he can spend and allow him to do so unless of course Wenger is really up his own arse in his 'way' that he cannot see another view and is surrounded by 'yes' men - does Pat Rice strike you as the shy retiring type?
I agree we've been mislead whether that was on purpose or not, we'll never know what the situation as was when he has made certain comments but maybe thats part of the problem and the hightend media coverage with 000's of websites, blogs, forums, social sites and 24 hours sports channels on TV and radio hardly help because every Tom, Dick and Harry gets their five minutes to tell their 'truth' but it's all opinion - the bottom line being whether you think he's a God or a twat he is the current manager of the club we all spend lots of time and money watching and thinking about so I guess we'll have to live with it or go elsewhere!
Anyway the initial thread about the shirt obviously started this and it has been picked up upon by my non-football supporting mate so:
