It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

That was the only reason I would have voted, to vote for anyone bar that smarmy, codecending git. God, I hate the sight and sound of him
No word of a lie, when he used to do the late late show my uncle and auntie got a random letter in the post. It was from the man himself (his people anyway) inviting them to one of Mr Byrnes garden parties. Anyway they went along and said they had a great day. Lots of free food and drink, and a few irish celebs and gaa stars. They got to briefly meet the man himself who thanked them for comming along, and was apparently very nice in person. Anyway they had a great day. It wasnt until a couple of weeks later when they recieved another random letter from him, this time it was a bill for the event. £80 each to be paid by cheque.

As you can imagine it wasnt a cheque they sent him, but a nice friendly letter stating where they could shove said bill. As you can imagine their opinion of him changed after that.
Also heard a story that he was invited to a wedding, went to it and then sent the happy couple a fucking bill  Could be an urban myth but I wouldn't put it pase the prick

Anyone but the Sinn Fein or Fianna Fail candidates. McGuinness would be a PR disaster for Ireland. Hopefully Gay Mitchell will win.

I hope Norris doesn't get in. This is the same sick fucker that tried to use his privileged position to appeal to the Israeli government to be lenient with his ex-boyfriend who was found guilty of the statutory rape of a 15 year old boy.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/au ... -president

The fucker has also expressed very unsavoury views about sex with children (which he then denied when they were published).

Sick dirty bastard.

To be honest all the candidates are shit. Not one of them would inspire anyone. Pretty much reflects the national morale level in our country right now i suppose.

True. Our politicians are still just a bunch of corrupt, self-serving, incompetant fuckwads. The very fact that so many of the bankers and developers that fucked this country are still in their jobs and not in prison says it all.

Let's just pray that the racist, xenophobic, religious nutjob, daughter of Satan (or Dana as she is also known to the other members of her coven) doesn't get elected. Public stoning and crucifixion of non-believers would really put the tourists off!

A bird who is the living embodiment of Satan on Earth but hides behind the facade of a Catholic fundamentalist.

Yep. We got the choices. Sure do! :-P  :banghead:
