It will destroy the league. Completely against the idea.
Arsenal's history of negotiations will see us committing to a twenty year crap deal to show our matches on Dave. It will then be against the Arsenal way to break the deal.
Where do you lot stand on individual TV deals?

The old First Division was massively more competitive than the Premier League has ever been - and that is even taking into account Liverpool's dominance in the 1970/80's. Teams could realistically challenge for the title immediately after getting promoted.
And the old European Cup/UEFA Cup/CW Cup format was far more exciting than the CL......
Just think back to the mid seventies and early eighties period when medium sized clubs were challenging at the top - Derby, Forest, WBA, Ipswich and Villa all had decent teams and either won trophies or in WBA's case were close for a few seasons.
Absolutely no chance of a whole bunch of clubs like that coming through now without huge (we are talking billions) investment in the team.
The wealthier clubs can afford to take the best players to build a huge squad of 25 international players - back then most squads were 16 players or so - or if desperate a youth player got a chance.
Money has destroyed the game I loved.
