IS IT FAIR TO CALL ARSENAL A TWO-MAN TEAM?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The guy makes mistakes on too frequent a basis.

If he cuts them down, yes. But right now, no.
what mistakes has he made this season?

silly thread really. no we are not a two man team. you seem to overlook bad players putting in decent performances. and never seem to give credit.

we have to accept our situation at the moment and relish every point we get.

Off the top of my head, the ones that led to goals against?

Man Utd 1st goal
Blackburn 1st goal
Spurs 2nd goal

He's made others, charging off his line and such, that didn't lead to goals against but easily could have.

I'm not knocking him, he's a fair keeper but he needs to go some to reach the elite level. He'll probably get there.

And the same can be said for Szczesny. We've gotten so used to dodgy keepers over the last few years that any keeper with decent form would always be seen as a hero. Dont get me wrong he is a very good player with the potential to be a great keeper, but he is still young and needs more time, sure its only his first season as first choice, and i do hope he becomes an all time great, he has the passion for it.
