what mistakes has he made this season?Number 5 wrote:You cannot put Szcezney in there.
The guy makes mistakes on too frequent a basis.
If he cuts them down, yes. But right now, no.
IS IT FAIR TO CALL ARSENAL A TWO-MAN TEAM?

Off the top of my head, the ones that led to goals against?barnetgooner wrote:what mistakes has he made this season?Number 5 wrote:You cannot put Szcezney in there.

Man Utd 1st goal
Blackburn 1st goal
Spurs 2nd goal
He's made others, charging off his line and such, that didn't lead to goals against but easily could have.
I'm not knocking him, he's a fair keeper but he needs to go some to reach the elite level. He'll probably get there.
And the same can be said for Szczesny. We've gotten so used to dodgy keepers over the last few years that any keeper with decent form would always be seen as a hero. Dont get me wrong he is a very good player with the potential to be a great keeper, but he is still young and needs more time, sure its only his first season as first choice, and i do hope he becomes an all time great, he has the passion for it.TeeCee wrote:Sorry but TV is elevated to hero status by a lot of people purely because the rest of our CB's are so shite! I love the spirit of TV and think he is a good player with great heart, but he's not a top top drawer defender yet.
