You'd be surprised how many away games go to silver and red.

no I haven't been to every home game this season - that is why I am a red member. It gives me the option of when I want to go.
but if ST holders don't go to every game either then why are they not red members too? as you say you can go to every home game now anyway so it is becoming worthless to have a ST I would have thought.
also I like sitting in different parts of the ground which you can't do as a ST holder.
To be fair, I have plenty of pals who if they can't go, will sell it on, or take a ridiculous offer. I was on holiday for Udinese and Liverpool, and I gave the ticket away for free. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to flog a season ticket for face value at the moment. Some people just can't get rid of them. It is also an unbelievable amount of hassle to find someone trustworthy, and to get the ticket dropped off and returned. It is also officially illegal and you run the risk of the Club confiscating the ticket. Ticket exchange can be utilised, but the Club take a big management fee and will only give you the money back if you renew the next year. You don't get cash, in other words.Red Member wrote:good point about the ST holders not being able to downgrade to silver.
that is a disgrace although it would affect me as I am on the silver membership waiting list and have been for 7 years.
I have never been on a ST waiting list because I knew I wouldn't get to all the games.
my main problem is with people who have a ST in the lower tier and don't go.
if for example a ST holder has a lower tier seat and doesn't go that is 1 less seat available to red members/general sale. More importantly it may mean that those wanting to buy a ticket may be forced into buying a more expensive ticket in the upper tier. I think that is fucking disgraceful.
