meeting merse/wenger

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You heard words to this effect

"nah, not for me anyway...if you knew the guy you wouldn't even question him being the man for the job, he's so dedicated the man, who you guna' find better?"

And you've now changed your opinion (ish) on wether Wenger should stay or go.

And you opened a thread to advertise this.

Oooookkkaaaaayyyyyy.

Haha, try and make me look silly why don't ya. I did say that i have thought about the season and it is qoing quite well too, but to be honest when people started to see things differently there is always something that changes their views on things slightly, and there aint anything wrong with that. I do think ex-pros (who played with wenger )opinions are a bit more valid than ours too, they know so much more about everything to do with football and what goes on, cos it was their job! Im yet to see any of them say that wenger should move on from arsenal!...does that mean that the anti-wengerists think they're all "deluded fools" lol. I got my own opinions on it all, but i know whos opinion i'd value higher.

You made yourself look silly with that ridiculous Primark tie and the 1970's Jack Regan Sweeney style shirt .

Your post means that you really dont have an opinion and can be easily persuaded .
I shall be sending Double Glazing/Life Insurance salesman round your house in the Am !

Wenger still has zero idea on tactics, can't organise a defence beyond sunday league standard and plays and rewards piss poor players! Wenger out!
Wenger has zero ideas on tactics? Come on that's not really true, is it? He's outsmarted dozens of top managers aduring his time at Arsenal. We were down 2-1 at halftime to Chelsea at the weekend and ended up winning. Were his tatics wrong in Dortmund? In Marseille? If you want to argue there are better managers out there, thats a reasonable opinion. But this "Wenger hasnt got a clue" stuff is self-evidently nonsense. Best win ratio of any Arsenal manager ever. Of course he doesn't get it right every time but the attitude on here seems to be:

Arsenal win: Players take all the credit.

Arsenal lose: Wenger takes all the blame.

You cant' have it both ways. I'm still an undecided on Wenger by they way, although I think he is still the best option we have at the time being, given the people in charge of the club right now.

merse is a arsenal ledge mate, but i don't really value his opinion on football matters, should of asked him who was going to win the 2.15 at Newbury

Given Merse's track record, I think his opinion on the nags is probably worse than his opinion on us!

lol thanks mate, just don't get why people wouldn't value opinions of people like merse (and i have heard plenty of others say wenger should stay) ...i understand people have opinions of their own, but i cant believe it when i see people slating every little thing wenger does... Its like me going up to a mechanic and showing him how to fix his car.

Or an alternative motoring analogy is that the likes of Hamilton and Button don't know everything about how a car is mechanically set-up - even though they can both drive fast!! 8)
