Man City (H) CC Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger would never make a substitution that early like Mancini did there. He cares too much for the player's emotions to do that.

Our strikers are shit!
Our big hope tonight is Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Love watching him play. Strong and skilful.

Frimpong always seems to play on the edge and liable to pick up booking or sending off. Can't complain about his determination though.

and yet i can take a corner that beats the first man, but without going over everyone practically for a throw in on the far side pretty much every time. why the fuck can't anyone at arsenal football club?!?!
Not enough focus, they're pulling their head up.

Focus ("mental strength"?) is NOT our strong suit.

We've found our midfield hardman: Emmanuel Frimpong.

Sounds like he's really giving Man City a thrashing (listening to the game on the radio).

I'm quite happy with that first half, thought we held our own quite well against a stronger team and one which is unbeaten and sitting at the top of the league. I honestly thought before kick off that we would be out of the game within 30 mins. Whether we can keep the pace for the second half remains to be seen but so far so good. :barscarf:

I have to say you have to add Miquel and Kos to that.

Both have been superb.

Agree, we've been the better team despite The sheikhs oil money. Chamakh is shit but the rest are playing well enough.

Won't come out for the second half!

Frimpong given him 'the stare' in the tunnel and bricked it!

C'mon you Gunners, great first half, don't get our hopes up for nothing now. Keep fighting against these dirty $ity c*nts.

PS: Anyone enjoying Nasri's frustration as much as I am?
