The Arshavin chant is very silly I must say:

1) Mocks his height which he might not appreciate
2) Needless mentioning of a former Arsenal player
3) More focus on said player hatred than appreciation for Arshavin

It is not ridiculous to suggest that fans chants might have a negative effect on a player, especially coming from his own fans.

Why can't we make decent chances for them that they might like? Is it too much too ask for?

The melody is well known by most fans, is catchy, not too full of words and - as far as I know - not used by any other clubs' fans!! What else do people need?
