QPR match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I guess we'll probably win this one.

Whole sale changes for this one I reckon as Fulham away on the Monday looks the more difficult on paper. But then again everything is for the Arsenal.
Sir Chesney
Coquelin-Koscielney-Miquel-Vermaelen
Frimpong-Arteta
Benayoun-Ramsey-Walcott
Chamakh

Don't know if walcott will play - if he has recovered from his 'ickle' tummy ache

Probably swallowed too much spunk when he was out with the boyz

I've got 2 more free tickets for this one now. Funny how many season ticket holders that I know suddenly don't want to go again now - this time conveniently using the going out for New Year's Eve excuse :D

See you all there. Can someone come and tap me on the shoulder when I'm dropping off. I don't want to miss the non-scoring Moroccan's 10 minute comedy cameo before the end

Do we dare play 2 up front at home against the mighty QPR?

Rodders, I'm amazed you've even asked that question mate.

Why change the successful, snails-pace 4-5-1. We're going to see if we can be the only top half team to draw at home to QPR, Sunderland, Blackburn and Wolves, plus lose to Villa in the same calendar year.

If you're lucky we might see Chamakh come on with 8 minutes to go

Yep, that comes in the 70th minute, regular as clockwork. Our tactical genius with his pre-set formation and pre-set substitutions. I hope the Ox has got a nice blanket to keep warm

Arsenal: Szczesny, Djourou, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Van Persie, Arshavin.

Subs: Almunia, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Chamakh, Benayoun, Coquelin.

Arshavin starting, hope they've got the oxygen and stretcher ready!

similar players, but arshavin offers much more goal threat.

definitley one of wenger's better decisions recently.
