You're reaching there, give it a rest. If Walcott cant do better with a chance like that, it has nothing to do with Wenger.
He was an instinctive striker at Southampton. At Arsenal Wenger basically coached most of his confidence out of him playing him on the right wing.
It's like United signing Rooney and playing him right wing for the last five years.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have done better with that chance, but we had a top youngster on our hands when we signed him and now he's average. To me that's Wenger's fault because he's being mismanaged.
The same thing is happening with Ox as we speak. Any confidence he has is being demolished because players like Chamakh and Arshavin are playing ahead of him consistently even though they're shit.
