Is Chamakh the worst Arsenal striker ever?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

all time worst has to be Clive Allen.
How did he manage that having never made an appearance for the club !

What does it say about Young Park that Chamakh is fancied ahead of him?

And what does it say about many Gooners, when they lavished Chamakh with praise early last season (don't deny it) off the back of a purple patch that included scuffed goals against Wolves, Bolton and Blackpool?

Standards? What standards?

Anybody remeber Fabio Caballero who came on loan for 6 months in the late 90's, or Tomas Danilevicius? I only saw them play a couple of games tops but that was enough to make my mind up that they surely must be the worst strikers I've ever seen at the Arsenal.

I remember Caballero.....he played up front when Vialli and the Chavs stuck 5 past us at THOF in the Beer Cup. He was fucking dire. Think he pissed off to Dundee or Falkirk or some such shit....and was crap their too

We're great at producing super quality strikers

Park has to be given a chance at some point.

one thing though - if Chamakh EVER plays for Arsenal again I want Wenger sacked, as he will have proved to me then that he has lost it.
