since October we have accumulated about as many points as anyone else in the PL

...and then from March to May we'll accumulate the same amount as teams in the bottom six (de ja vu for 'x' number of years)

agreed, some good news - if only the manager had the balls to bomb out Song and play him with Arteta and Ramsey

we have one of the most exciting young talents in England, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

a man who will no doubt play at least one FA Cup tie but won't get on the field during the PL and CL games, inexplicably finding himself below Arshavin, Walcott, Rosicky, Gervinho and Benayoun, in the pecking order for a wide midfield role

I thought I would join in with the new positive feeling on here by putting up a post I did last season predicting that things were not as bad as they seemed back then.

In particular I certainly did feel that the defence was heading in the right direction.

the problem I have this season is that I don't believe having sold our best player to one of our rivals that we stand a chance of improving on our 3rd place last season and Jack Wilshere has STILL not returned.
it appears this club can only go so far and we are always going to be 2 or 3 players away from challenging for the top honours.

And nice to see my predictions about Wenger allowing us to wimp out of the FA Cup early doors, replacing RvP with substandard shite and having a shitty March to May period come true too mate. Hardly takes fucking Sherlock does it ?

We'll blow out the cups again in our pursuit of the 4th placed trophy, we'll sell at least 2 more decent players at the end of the season, not sign anyone in January and then wonder why our 2nd rate backups (Djourou, Fabianski, Chamakh etc) let us down again at the business end of the season

although again I think we will do ok this season, but this time the defence will be stronger and the attack weaker.

Santi Cazorla looked at home at the Etihad today. No doubt he will be playing there before long.
That is the problem now - it is difficult to believe in the team any more.
