Arsenal Fans are just really thick

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am merely stating facts. Whether or not you to choose to agree with them is up to you.
Facts are things you can back up with evidence. Such as you are a *word censored* - that is a fact.

You are stating your beliefs. Different thing

The sooner you're gone from here, the better.

I have just been on a St Louis Rams forum which is set up identical to this one :D

they are all going nuts about Kroenke making their team play some matches in London in the next few seasons.

They rate Arsenal highly though. One called Arsenal "a soccer powerhouse"

They also think that Kroenke will have in mind Arsenal playing some league games over in the US...

No disrespect, but as DB10Gooner points out, we had many long detailed threads on here over the last 18 months about the board and the Highbury Redevelopment when there was a poster named USMartin.

The subject was virtually exhausted then, with hard fought and contributions from myself STG, AUGIE, FLASH, G88NER, LDB, AA23 amongst others, and so wearysome did the process get by the end that I think people have taken breather from discussing "THE BOARD", in favour of more football based discussion.

And I will bet you £100 that's not the case. Arsenal Football Club will not have played a league fixture outside from the Emirates Stadium or any stadium they move to by January 24, 2017.

If you want to go through with the bet, PM me, I'll gladly tell you where I can be found on home games or we can meet at Liverpool, QPR or Wolves away.

I really hope you're right. There's always that little bit of doubt in my mind, especially where Kroenke is concerned. I do think it is a tiny, tiny chance though.

After reading about the NFL London series in October, a lot of Rams fans are saying they are worried that the team will move from St. Louis when some contract thing runs up in 3 years or something. Apparently the stadium isn't up to scratch or something. LA seems to the expected destination but a few have been mooting London.

The NFL do keep banging on about the eventual 'hope' of a 'London Franchise' and if Kroenke owns the Rams and 60% of us... If AFC own the stadium, does this mean he owns 60% of it? Some Rams of the comments on news articles talked about him moving the Rams to play home games at the Grove because of this.

Again, I admit it is improbable but that tiny chance it could happen - especially with Kroenke at the helm - terrifies me!!

Until recently I held the view that our problem is the board, and that Wenger has done a fantastic job in the circumstances of keeping us in the Champions League on a shoestring.....

However, I've lost patience with him. He is proving himself to be just an apologist for the people who supposedly run the club. Without him we would probably have been shot of Hill-Wood and Kronke long ago! What has the last 6 years achieved except line their pockets!

And if and when Wenger retires (there is no motivation at the club to sack him!) and writes his book, any mention of constraints that he couldn't talk about when he was in the job won't excuse the way he has run the club. They will just make him look even more like the yes man he has become!

Wenger needs to go, but he is by far from being the only one.......

The Rams playing in London is down to them getting a new stadium and has no impact on Arsenal or them moving to London. What Kroenke is doing is showing St. Louis that he is prepared to play elsewhere in the hope that they (the taxpayer) foot the bill for a new stadium for the Rams if they want the team to stay in the city.

If they dont they will simply move to LA where a stadium will be built for them all the while Kroenke wont have to fork out for it.

of course Arsenal fans are thick - ST holders are paying £1500k for there seat, CAT A games can cost over £100 quid,

the players are mediocre, the food and beverages are over priced and taste crap, the board don't care, just about making money and the manager repeats the same shit for the last 6 years

and now Arsenal fans have the pleasure of watching probably one of the worst arsenal teams in the last 20 years

supporting Arsenal at the moment is liking put your debit card in a cash machine, asking for £100 and then the machine keeps your card and tells you to fuck off

It's not a question of being thick, it's a question of being there through thick and thin.

Not many threads that deal with the main issue of the board ??!!

Are you for real ?

I think if you go back over the past year you'll find dozens of these threads. The majority of us that want Wenger out remain equally dismayed by the Board. The Board are guilty of a dozen sins but making gormless substitutions, playing the same rigid 4-5-1 formation come hell or high water and overseeing the league's most porous defence away from home, are not amonst them.

I've spent too many hours spitting bullets over the slow death that our club is suffering at the hands of "Hey London, how y'all doin'" Jimmy Krankee and the slimy corporate greaseball that is Gazidis

What really is fucking thick is not understanding the difference between debt and equity, and supporting a Kroenke type ownership structure rather than an Usmanov structure, believing the tripe that springs from Hill-Wood's mouth rather than researching the facts. Those of us that weren't thick enough, are now watching people slowly come round to that way of thinking.
