Best atmospheres you've been part of?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was a bit disappointed by San Siro tbh. Granted the atmosphere at these places is always a bit more subdued for CL games, but I didn't really think they made much noise apart from a few mins after each of their goals. Yeah, it was better than Camp Nou but that's not really hard

I thought San Siro was decent, but you're right, Camp Nou is not a great comparison haha. :)

By the way, did anyone of you who were in Milan see Dermot O'Leary? He was standing one row in front of me and he left when Zlatan was awarded a penalty.

Yeah, I saw him the day after walking around the Duomo. I believe, he's a season ticket holder.

I thought the 2-1 win against Manchester United in 2007 (Henry last minute winner) was probably the first time the Emirates exploded. That will always be one of my favourite moments as it was the first time (for me) that the Emirates felt like our home.

This season away at the scum was lively, well the lower tier anyway. Didn't stop singing all the game and went potty with Ramsey equalised.

Anfield 89 was mental.

I totally agree - about 50,000 (felt like more) packed in for a night game. Was a superb night.

The Liverpool midweek game where the wall collapsed outside on Gillespie Road, sometime in late 80's.

I was wondering the other day because it's been so long since we've won anything, if the deciding game to win the league was at the Grove and we won it, do you reckon they'd be a pitch invasion?

Maybe Sammy could provide advice on the best way to escape a ban?

To throw a new one into the mix. Roma 1 - Arsenal 0 (Arsenal win on penalties) :barscarf: :barscarf:

(Those Romans weren't happpy about the result afterwards! )
Remember a couple of them trying to set fire to their seats in an attempt to intimidate us as they were leaving?
