Re: Who scored
the first english goal for us at the grove belongs to phil jagielka, an OG in a 3-0 win v Sheffield United.
First english goal scored altogether was a villa player, I'm guessing Reo Coker? And first english Arsenal player to score there was Theo, right. If your talking about the testimonial for DB10 it was probably someone like Parlour or Wrighty, I can't remember
but first actual Arsenal goal in a competitive match at the grove was Gilberto Silva, but otherwise I'm having trouble understanding your question , pretty sure the first Arsenal goalscorer at the Grove was brazilian (Silva)
my head hurts

Re: Who scored
Yes been doing a bit of googling and you seem to be off the mark here Sammy

Re: Who scored
First league game at the grove was a 1-1 game with villa. They took the lead through mellberg and we equalised through bert

if you meant in a competitive first team match then I'm pretty sure I covered it
Re: Who scored
Exactly, the question is double dutch... then again, as Ajax was the first game (Bergkamp's tesimonial) and Huntelaar was the first goalscorer, perhaps double dutch is the correct answer!Henry Norris 1913 wrote:SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:No one is correct
Tut tutexplain the question.

Re: Who scored
The question was simple....
The title started it the post ended it.
However, the answer was indeed Justin Hoyte, as he scored v Charlton in 2007 making him the first English born Arsenal player to score at the Grove

i'm backing Henry here. The OP was unclear. Jagielka is the answer. If you'd said "Arsenal player" it would be Hoyte. BUT YOU DIDN'T!
