Ade, will go where the money is, China awaits the big man!Barriecuda wrote:http://www.sportinglife.com/football/ne ... er&BID=165
He's a twitchy, tax-dodging fuck but he is bloody shrewd too. This is a great play. He's basically giving Ade an ultimatum, but he's doing it while things are all rosy in the Sp*rs garden. He also knows few other teams are going to take a chance on Ade and he's giving him a chance to stay - albeit at a reduced price.
He knows Sp*rs could cough up bigger bucks if he had to, but he's basically playing Ade to get a top player at a cut price. Very clever, twitchy. Very clever.

So..
The Spuds drop points against Wolves on Saturday after laying siege to their goal unsuccessfully. 2 points dropped and a rare chance for the Arsenal to cut the deficit ahead of Tottenhams trip to moneybags City.
24 hrs later they have actually EXTENDED their lead to 10 fucking points (11 with GD) after we get taken to bits by Swansea.

How many times has a Redknapp team finished higher in the league than a Wenger one?????phil_mitchell wrote:Far better manager than wenger...any body that disagrees with that is obviously not worth litsening to......but still wouldn't have him we at arsenal.. should be looking to appoint FAR much better
So who's not worth listening to?
i doubt this is a one off, and tbh, fuck waiting around to see whether Harry matches our record by finishing above us on a consecutive basis...which he will, especially with our diminished league position.northbankbren wrote:How many times has a Redknapp team finished higher in the league than a Wenger one?????phil_mitchell wrote:Far better manager than wenger...any body that disagrees with that is obviously not worth litsening to......but still wouldn't have him we at arsenal.. should be looking to appoint FAR much better

Who else would have him at Arsenal? (Please leave rivalries aside.)

who have Spurs actually beaten this season?
ok they have beaten 2 teams in the top 8 at home this season - us and Liverpool. Thing is though Liverpool were reduced to 9 men in that match.
they have not beaten any of the top 8 away from home and in fact only one currently in the top 13 - Norwich City
so is the Spurs title challenge based on their fluked win over us at the beginning of October when we were still shit?
I also realised back in January that Spurs had not really beaten anyone this season and they STILL havent
