Then I'm afraid you've cometo the wrong place, this forum is full of fans who leave games early (like myself), plastic fans from Ireland like DB10, AKBs and the worst kind of all, armchair fans like Flash.

Not to sound like a c***, but how do you know that? Can you enlighten me please? :banghead:
Too much talk in the media (even BBC said it's done) for it not to happen. Watch Wenger's facial expression when they asked him about it today.

If he doesn't I'll never post on here again.

Not to poop in your sock, but do you remember last summer? Do you remember Wenger's facial expression when he was asked if Mata had been agreed on? He smirked and said no comment.

I think this signing makes sense, for Podolski and for Arsenal, but I haven't seen enough evidence yet to suggest that it is definitely happening.

Even handshake deals mean nothing in the cutthroat modern world of agents and big money contracts.

I'm sure Arsenal and Koln have agreed "in principle" and will "negotiate further" if both parties' "prerequisites" are fulfilled come the summer and there are not "extenuating circumstances".

So, we're probably closer to signing him than anybody else... but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

He'll join us if he wants to. Arsenal are clearly intrerested but it's up to him what he joins a club for. Wengers latest comments are true in this case.

Hi,
according to the german KICKER Podolski deal with Arsenal is sealed
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bund ... rhalt.html

Definitely a done deal (according to KICKER resources), but not officially announced, is the transfer from Lukas Podolski to FC Arsenal. Around 12 Million Euros plus bones is the package worth. Arsenal Coach Arsene Wenger has the deal not officially announced yet because he don’t want to bring up any concerns during the season finale.

Not responsible for any wrong translation
You will get a world class player for a bargain, congratulations!

Cheers,
Thomas

Thanks for the information mate, hope this all does turn out to be true and isn't dependent on qualification for the Champions League.

Wasnt it sealed a month or two ago? I'll believe it when i see him holding up the shirt, which incidently will be number 10 after RVP's departure

Why do I still have a feeling that the transfer won't happen and he'll end up elsewhere post Euro 2012?

(Other than me just being a miserable git :D )

I think it is a done deal.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/
Cologne's striker Lukas Podolski, 26, will join Arsenal for just under £10m in the summer, according to reports in Germany.

If cologne is being relegated to the second division then he will maybe be cheaper...

But it looks like you have an issues with RVP?!

Robin van Persie's agent has reportedly held talks with Juventus, who are prepared to pay Arsenal in excess of £25m for the 28-year-old Dutch striker.

Not sure how trustful the daily mirror is
