The picture is a bit harsh because it doesn't tell a story - simply reinforces our already biased beliefs.

He could have done sixteen laps around the stadium, been the last guy off the pitch, signed autographs all afternoon, and stopped to check his phone for a second - and those who don't know any better would berate him for a lack of interest with the fans.

Now, I have no doubt that he wasn't doing the above, but it still demonstrates that a split second image isn't enough to judge someone's interest. It's only made worse with the juxtaposition of the born-and-raised Gunner Jenkinson being beside him. To be fair, even Jenks has his phone in his pocket... or a very square shaped hard-on for Frimpong (insert rainbow emoticon here)

Exactly. Had he been told to keep his phone on? Family issues? Anything could be happening, no one but him knows. He's still a passionate Arsenal fan, so the picture doesn't really do much except give the people who hate him ammunition.

He posted a picture, so what.. people need to get a grip seriously.

Plus the boy was actually born in Africa, he is African and was simply showing what happens over there, no big deal.

I don't think he is good enough for Arsenal but wish him luck with his career and his business ventures, he is a very level headed boy far from the billy bollocks some people think he is.
