Vieira's comments

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A freudian slip perhaps?

Or maybe as 'Arold would say, "You dirty old man!"

It also upsets me that the author of this thread spelt Vieira's name wrong :(

I Hate Hleb wrote:Vieira, who is in charge of football development at Manchester city, added: 'What is important for Robin is he wants to win trophies. Arsenal have to show him he can do it with Arsenal.
'The best way for them to get him to sign a contract is to bring players to the club who can show him the club are in the same line as him.'

I really can't see what is wrong with what Patrick has said. Isn't this what the vast majority of gooners have been saying? :rubchin: :? If RVP leaves then there will be only person to blame - and it's not Vieira!! :banghead: :banghead:

Christ how I used to love when Manu would lanch himself into a tackle. What a partnership.

Sorry for coming over all nostalgic.
You're not the only one who misses such wondrous sights Rodders!- Vieira taking someone out at the knees, then stealing away with the ball, then a 20 yard diagonal pass for TH to put it in the ole onion bag!....cue Lot's of Gooners jostling, hugging, screaming and going apeshyte.

Does feel wrong with him at City doesn't it?

Then again I still feel odd that Brian Marwood is there and not on our wing.

When you consider how many of Fergie's lot went on to manage (Robson, Ince, Bruce, Keane, Hughes and maybe even Solskaer) it's incredible how few of the players from GG's era and even Wenger's for that matter have gone into management.

Sorry that that's completely off topic
