What's also concerning me a lot is that his name sounds too much like Djourou!!
i agree, i think the signings of Giroud and Podolski are to soften the blow of Rvp off to Juventues. if it does happen it's a big gamble taking on two players who no one knows will adapt to the PLaalderton wrote:Hello Giroud goodbye van persie is what I think is going to happen

That would be suicide.Rosie_titters wrote:i can see our 4 strikers next year being Giroud, Podolski, Gervinho and Chamakh

Gervinho & Chamakh don´t score.
Podolski is a midfielder more than a striker.
Giroud needs time to adapt to the PL.
I still think there is a chance that RvP will stay and sign a new contract.
I assume by this you mean McD's thread?OneBardGooner wrote: Keeping alive the thread that is hope

Many have to their minds he is no longer of the Arsenal
Verrily they have reasons good amongst all men
For this has been the way in our recent days and history
But, shall we,
the 'we' that is you and I fellow Gooners, dally and wonder
M\rk time with furrowed brow
or soothing thoughts,
Keeping alive the thread that is hope
and by which our dreams are anchored
Nay! tis not yet something the Gods are willing to reveal
And so, till such time
Be ye of hope and balanced mind
Weep not!
For tis not yet known what this tale shall tell.
