Spuds' most embarrassing moments

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree with Flash totally...was there with a couple of mates in Spurs section close to Paxton. Nervous I have to admit, then we scored and everyone round us jumped up and celebrated. Loads of throat slitting gestures ensued but never materialised. Blow up dolls being passed around was the funniest thing at football I'd seen. Then safe home after sauntering p the Seven Sisters unmolested. Wish I was 22 again!!!

This is possibly the funniest thing I've heard in my entire life. It is really a damning indictment on the state of our welfare system that a man who comes out with stuff like that has remained a member of the general public and not been sectioned. :fryingpan:

There are so many but a particular favorites were the David Pleat Blow up Doll game ,waddle going to take a corner and then a doll floats by him ,then the Massive Spurs cockerel picks it up and waddles away !
But perhaps the best was the league cup semi replay ................1-0 down Champagne Charlie limps off and on comes Ian Allinson ........Spurs are Jubilant noise all round the ground ,the cheeky announcer starts giving out ticket information for the ballot on league cup final tickets ...................the rest is History .
People sometimes forget the first leg of the semi ,Spurs pissed all over us but led by a single Clive Allen goal....they should have buried the tie.

When their fans claim that they are a "bigger" club with a more illustrious history.

All two of their league titles.

Christian Gross' press conference when he produced the Tube ticket.
The ticket announcement in 1987 Littlewoods Cup semi.
The 1987 FA Cup Final shirt fuck up..only half the team had sponsors name on the shirt...costing secretary his job.
Mind the GAP 2012
Sol becoming a Gooner..
DVDs and Mugs..
The Dublin Tottenham Supporters Club singing "Mine eyes have seen the trophies on display at White Hart Lane" at a supporters clubs function in Dublin in 1994. It was met with howls of laughter.
Trying to get West Ham/ Lasagne game replayed...
David Pleat in a slow car..
Harry Redknapp in any car..
Clive Allen..
Alan Sugar's comments about washing his car with Klinnsman's shirt....who was back at the Lane a few years later??
Having Sky Sports so far up their collective arses..
Jamie Redknapp calling the manager "Dad" on TV...Gary Neville called his brother "the Everton Captain" ..
This is fun.... :barscarf:

Would say season just gone to be fair. 13 points clear and them being 2.0 up

The mocking, the t-shirts and the fact we derailed there whole season. In addition there best squad for 50 years and our worst. The conspiracy theories about the west brom keeper!

The fact we once again celebrated st totterings day after them thinking 3rd place or even 1st or 2nd was possible

Deluded muggy cnuts

Them getting thrashed 6-0 at Bolton in a league cup game when they were in the league below. Losing 7-0 at Newcastle, losing to bankrupt Pompey in the FA cup semi-final, us winning the league at their place the same amount of times as they have won it in their history, numerous foreign players saying 'who' when they are linked with them, losing to Port Vale in an FA cup tie, getting beaten 5-2 by us, 6-0 by Chavs at their place and spanked by Real Madrid, thinking they had qualified for the Champions League then missing out, having gone on about winning the double for 10 years then watching us hoover up three of them since, having a sex case as a manger and then bringing him back 15 years later and getting bombarded with more blow-up dolls, desperately trying to imitate us in every way... oh the list is endless.

As many have said the 87 semi finals and the 4-4 dvd are probably the most embarrassing.
