I'll get the ball rolling: obviously hosting our title-winning party. TWICE. :barscarf:
Just goes to show how much Spurs fans know of their playing history they have some great right backs Baker from the 61 season errrr Gary Stevens and errrrm whats his name Chris Hughton ok perhaps Kyle Walker is their best RB. Not like our long line of great RB's

How about the story of the parrot they had????

Apparently during a trip to South America during the early 1900's they went by boat and the ships captain gave them a parrot as a gift and good luck charm. The story is the parrot lived happily for a good few years but on the day in 1919 when Arsenal replaced sp*rs in the top division the parrot keeled over and died

1915 - 1928- 1935 - 1977

1935 has to be the most embarrassing out of any quoted so far.

Arsenal played 42, won 23, lost 7, goals for 115, goals against 46, points 58, First division champions(1)

Spurs played 42, won 10, lost 22, goals for 54, goals against 93, points 30 relegated bottom of the division(22)

Loving this thread!!
I still haven't quite recovered from laughing when they were 3 up at half time against Man City, Barton got sent off in the tunnel during the break yet the 10 men went on to win 4-3.
All that "mind the gap" shit last season.
The fact they even enquired about the Olympic stadium.
Incredibly hipocritical in accepting adebayor after all the slagging they gave him before.

I really LOVE the fact we have won the Title more times at their shithole than they have!! :barscarf: 8)

Talk about getting mugged off by the neighbours! :-P

In footballing cultural terms we mugged them off, went home, had a beer and a curry, rode the wife, had another beer, then a bit of a snooze then went back and mugged them off again!

Any team that has Cazorla in it cannot be considered average.

I don't think we are that bad of a side to be honest (talent-wise). We just don't have a manager that can bring the best out of the players at his disposal.

That's got to be one of my fondest memories as well, 1-0 up on the night and 2-0 up on aggregate. Think they may have even missed a penalty at Highbury in the first leg.

And I think they were even 1-0 up late on in the replay before succumbing to Rocastle et al.... I still think I was the one who started singing "Good Old Arsenal", which was the thing that turned that tie around :barscarf: !

And I remember getting back to Tottenham Hale Station after a pleasant drink or six, and having to tell some young Spuds "hooligans" that maybe it was time for bed.... Those two games at WHL are hard to beat!!
