Sure women's football is pretty dire but that win at Wembley would have been by far the biggest crowd those ladies had ever played in front of. That was the pinnacle of their sport and if it means we have to endure Stuart Pearce's rag tag mob (although Ramsey is looking decent :barscarf: ) then so be it.
A graduate and a lady! Who'd have guessed!

I'm telling you my graduation ceremony was a clunge fest. They'll be ruling the world in a few years time, I'm just getting on their good side early. Thats assuming that people from shit ex-polytechnics rule the world of course :barscarf:

Without a shadow of a doubt, that gb team is absolute fcuking muck - sturridge is showing yet again what a grade a cock he really is and he is a brainless clipe on the pitch

On a side issue, if i was british I think that I would be slightly embarassed by the continued booing of buck tooth suarez - I aint defending the guy or playing down the impact of what he did but that terry scumbag did the very same thing and the backlash towards him will be practically non existant

Not sure about that augie. I remember Terry got stick at almost every ground he played at - and even from away fans at the Bridge - after the incident with Ferdinand last season.

fuck off mate, we have a right to boo the diving, cheating little *word censored*, how can you possibly have a go at fans for booing, aren't you one of those old school fans who hates the sterile modern day football experience :?
if team gb are so shite how did we get through the group? why don't you spend more time judging irelands performance than slating us instead of becoming the irish frank butcher

My gripe about the booing isnt against booing in general but more to do with the reason behind it ? Are they booing suarez cos of the racist incident or cos he is a diving c**t ? I feel that terry will get abuse cos he is a chav c**t but will he get abuse for what he said to ferdinand or will it be too easy for english fans to back away from abusing him for that cos some old c**t in robes and a wig allowed him to walk free ? I suppose abuse is abuse at the end of the day but hypocrisy gets on my tits and there is no difference between the incidents imo and a judge clearing him doesnt make him not guilty in my eyes

Henry are you seriously telling me that team gb is anything other than shite ? This isnt a racist rant but a reflection of my analysis of the team of has beens and never will be's and in many ways I have sympathy for pearce with the lack of quality players at his disposal even though I dont believe mens footie should be in the olympics.
Btw Irish footie is at its lowest level for over 30 years and I am well aware of that but the lesson in football that both of our countries received in the euro's frightened and saddened me ans shows just how far behind we both really are

Are you having a laugh? Terry gets abused at almost every ground he goes to.

He only doesn't get abused when playing for England unless you're seriously expecting England fans to boo their own player?

well, it wouldn't be unprecedented.

And he might be alongside the select club of black players who were booed by some England fans back in the day - how ironic would that be?

If team gb were to lose on pens then I am glad it was sturridge that fcuked up - he really is an arrogant c**t for somebody who has done fcuk all in the game  :x :x :x

Sturridge went for the stutter-step penalty and got categorically denied by the Korean backup keeper. Poor choice by DS. Korean stepped up and blasted home the winner.

GB was looking good on penalties up to that point, but Butland looked completely unconfident throughout. Both keepers not spectacular in truth.

Sad to see GB lose again in such similarly disappointing fashion.

Maybe so but at the same time it wasnt a competition that was supported by the big clubs, the big players or indeed by most footie fans so I wonder how disappointed people will really be

I don't mind Sturridge tbh; fought meningitis to represent his nation and is a Gooner to boot.
