Bergkamp, Overmars, Henry and Pires
If I am safe in knowledge didn't those four legends score their first goal for Arsenal against our next home opponents?
So on that note fill your boots Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla
Mind you who the fook will score at Anfield?

Wasn't Bergkamp's against Southampton too? At Highbury though...

Amazing to think that the two fattest players every to play for us, Arshavin and the Beast, have both scored 4 for us at Anfield in the recent past. There was a time when that would cement you as hero status for life but the common consensus on both is that they were/are a bit sh1te!SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:rodders999 wrote:What odds we go into that game with a big fat lonely zero in the goals for column by the way?

Never mind the press, I remember the West Ham fans singing "Sealey's better than Bergkamp" when they brought him on as an out field sub at Highbury! Why the hell did they have to bring a sub keeper on as a striker anyway? Can't remember.BournemouthRED wrote:Remember the press slating us for db10? There was such a huge deal being made out of every game that went by without him scoring that when he finally banged that one in against The Saints, it was like the joint release of weeks of built up tension from the crowd.

Side issue Ian Wright scored his first Arsenal league goal against Southampton...Hat trick at the Dell. Think Anders limpar scored his last Arsenal goal at the Dell.
