Jermain Defoe

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Better than Chamakh, Park and Bendtner but I reckon would only be worth getting if we played two up top.

I'd take him, just to piss off the scum! Quality player who I've never hated as much as other spurs players. Will never happen but in theory yes id love him at arsenal

Agree. I always prefer 1 big guy, 1 little guy up front and think he'd a good job for us.

Darren Bent also claimed to be an Arsenal fan and a Highbury regular as a kid yet ran his mouth off loads after that 4-4.

Defoe would be a useful signing. Massive confidence player which means he's utter cack half the time but when he's on form the guy will be a real nuisance and bag goals. Basically Rufus Smalls.

Like that knob Sherwood. Better than the Diaby way though.

Why would we want someone who can't even get into the Spurs team? He want to play games. Defoe is a prime example of a player you happen to see on MOTD once a month and see him score you think he's not too bad.

Could we not sign Scott Sinclair? Younger and hungrier than Defoe. Would be reasonably priced and is a quality finisher

Personally I would rather we signed frank or Trevor sinclair 8) Scott Sinclair is another example of young footballers and their inflated ego and greed - you fcuking bombed out at the chavs son and played a few good games at Swansea (consistency is still issue IMO) and all of a sudden you think that you are good enough for a big club again ?

Defoe is a Gooner and I'm sure would jump at the chance to sign & play.
