OK so he's nearly 30 but in my opinion streets ahead of Chamakh, Bendtner, Park........

Better than Chamakh, Park and Bendtner but I reckon would only be worth getting if we played two up top.

Re: Jermain Defoe
I'd take him, just to piss off the scum! Quality player who I've never hated as much as other spurs players. Will never happen but in theory yes id love him at arsenal

Agree. I always prefer 1 big guy, 1 little guy up front and think he'd a good job for us.QuartzGooner wrote:Better than Chamakh, Park and Bendtner but I reckon would only be worth getting if we played two up top.

Darren Bent also claimed to be an Arsenal fan and a Highbury regular as a kid yet ran his mouth off loads after that 4-4.1886 Cannon wrote:I think he was an Arsenal fan.
Defoe would be a useful signing. Massive confidence player which means he's utter cack half the time but when he's on form the guy will be a real nuisance and bag goals. Basically Rufus Smalls.

Like that knob Sherwood. Better than the Diaby way though.

but yeah i'd take defoe, but spuds have only got him and emanuel itv4 up front so i dont think they'll let him go....and i dont believe what the sun has to say!!
Re: Jermain Defoe
Why would we want someone who can't even get into the Spurs team? He want to play games. Defoe is a prime example of a player you happen to see on MOTD once a month and see him score you think he's not too bad.
Re: Jermain Defoe
Could we not sign Scott Sinclair? Younger and hungrier than Defoe. Would be reasonably priced and is a quality finisher

Defoe is a Gooner and I'm sure would jump at the chance to sign & play.
Re: Jermain Defoe
What about Frank Sinclair ? The great Leicester defender ,he's scored for us before you know and hes cheap !
