Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
Probably wants a bigger paycheque despite the fact he's getting on in years. Still a quality LB though. Won't be surprised if he ends up at Anzhi or PSG...

Welcoming Cole back to the club
No wonder no-one takes you seriously
:lol
In case you hadn't noticed you're right Einstein, it's pretty fucking desperate at Arsenal these days, so much so that Portsmouth and McLeish have won more trophies than we have in an right year (almost) period!
We've sold for £135 mil since 2009 and the last remaining world class performer is gone to Fergie.
Oh did I mention that Sagna might jump too soon?
So asking whether a left back who happens to be a better defender than ANY current Arsenal squaddie, would/should join us isn't as desperate as ooooh lemme see...
Calling a fat pensioned Sol Campbell to come play in defence for us (alongside Silvestre) in the Nou Camp; or calling a crazy German keeper out of retirement to come help u save a few pennies; or perhaps selling your best player to a team that finished 19 pts ahead of you already!
Do some homework please dear child....
Thats a bit rich coming from you, do some homework after starting a thread about kalou joining us and it never happened but you seem to have conviently forgot that

I wouldn't want him back, once a
always a
IMO, he wants to be on the front pages not on the back.

Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
Like I said, no-one takes you seriously
The evidence is there to see even since my previous post
You'd have to be an absolute numpty of the highest order to countenance bringing back Cole, but then you do appear to be the forum equivalent of Adrian Durham, so this doesn't surprise me.

Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
Never has a good word to say about Arsenal past or present, starts threads about about shit players that dont come to us and now wants the number 1 most hated ex Arsenal player in history (also according to a recent poll on here too)to come back to play for us and this is all the tip of the iceberg of his posts in the last year!!!
Anyone would think Babatunde is a scum supporter on here for a wind up

Lads, let's just tone down the personal abuse a tad, huh? We really don't want to be locking threads or deleting posts or warning or banning people, but the owners have very clearly stated they don't tolerate personal abuse on here any more.
We try to let one or two off the cuff remarks go tbh, I mean it IS a football forum, but if this thread just turns into everyone calling Babatunde abusive names it will end up locked...

Forget what went on before (if you can) and judge him as a player, and compare to the current dross at left-back.
I think there could only be one answer here...
Cannot believe this has gone to a poll

Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
First off I admit that Cole is currently better than what we have to offer in that position.
But, on what basis do you want him back? He'll be 32 in the summer when a transfer would be made. Would you offer him a 2+ year contract taking him up to 34? (BTW, I don't want to hear about how "everybody" wanted Sol) What kind of wages would he demand? Do you think he'll still be good enough at 33/34?
If his name was John Smith and never played for The Arsenal I still wouldn't want him. The fact that he is the scum of the earth who loves to stick the knife in to Gunners makes it even easier for me to say NO.

Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
I used to hate Cashley with a burning passion, but after the last several seasons of ... well fuck all... I'm now indifferent to him and would willinginly take him back as he's better (alot better) than we've got.
Re: ASHLEY COLE LEAVING CHAVS
Yep: 'if he joins' and 'If' it comes to a head sounds pretty darn categorical to me!kite wrote:"It really does as if this Kalou business is coming to a head..."mcdowell42 wrote:just stop being a bitch and admit you got that kalou joining us completely and utterly wrong man up or do you have the balls i doubt it just another whiny bitch.
