According to the intellectual leaders of this forum like Flash et al Franksav, you saying you would have Cole back must make you a Spud!
This coming from the same people who will possibly hero-worship any half-arsed decision Wenger made.
Like I said: Sol walked out on us, he lied and said he was going abroad, rocked up on the South Coast, slagged the club off quite publicly and we were told 'Once you leave like that Arsene never takes you back'
So imagine my surprise to hear the general all-round lauding Sol got when he returned as an older, fatter player.
'Great business by Arsene he has settled the defence' etc.
If you'd have Sol back then everyone blustering about their moral compass can shove it, because you cheered Sol an hence if Arsene re-signed Cashley, no way you would say anything

Don't get me wrong Baba, if we had won what Cashley had and he had won fuck all during the time he left, then I wouldn't want him back, if that makes me as fickle as hell, then I don't care, the main reason I would have him back is because Wenger has never replaced him, or replaced him with inferiour players which Wenger has done constantly over the last 7 seasons which has obviously contributed in our last barren 7 seasons.
Precisely my friend.
If Arsenal had en won a single league title or CL in the past 7 years then there's no way I'd even consider having the idiot back. But we've done fuck all. Team is mediocre.
You're right it makes you (and me by extension) 'fickle'
Another example of fickle people:
'RVP is world class' to...
'He is an injury prone one season wonder'
e are even hearing murmurs now from people that once lauded Sagna as the best right back in the PL (he is the best right back in the league, FACT) that 'Sagna isn't that good'
Yet the same folk will hail Jenkinson's mythical 'improvement' (by improvement I assume they mean he has learnt how to stand on his own two feet?)
All footie fans are fickle as fuck, you just need to see the treatment Henry gets for being a hero, and Fabregas too - and yet see the very different reactions to Nasri and Adebayor.
Far as I am aware, Nasri never took a massive loyalty bonus from the club and never gave annoying interviews before leaving; Bayor never got a loyalty bonus and never was on the sorts of ridiculous wages Henry and Fabregas were on eh?
