Expect righteous indignation from Scousers today...don't want to make light of the tragedy that is Hillsborough but today a different report will give the answers that they want. It was a football tragedy because that 's how football fans were treated (as opposed to their belief that it happened because they are Liverpool fans). One comment by a Mother of a victim this morning was that today will prove the victims were not to blame. I would imagine she is spot on. The victims were mostly the ones who were in early. There are no winners in this. Vindication for families that deserve vindication, but no winners.

I have every sympathy for the victims of Hillsborough and their families. What those people went through doesn't bear thinking about.
However, as has been mentioned by one on here, this report today will just tell the scousers exactly what they want to hear.
Those of us who used to go regualrly in the 80s could tell a slightly different story. The scousers were well known for turning up at big games without tickets ( take a look at the 86 cup final footage to see them climbing up the outside of Wembley to get in) charging gates/grounds to get in. Leaving the pubs 15 mins before kick off all expecting to get in on time.
While i accept that there were probably decisions taken by the police etc that day, that in hindsight perhaps wouldn't have been, those scousers who charaged those gates have to take their share of responsibility for what happened and the deaths of those people should be on their conscience as well.
Still, they don't want to hear that do they. better to blame someone else.
PS. And as for Heysel, are they still looking for answers for the deaths of 39 supporters there. Thought not!!!

I hope they hear what they want to, so that we can put this to bed once and for all.
R.I.P. to the people that died that day and to everyone that has died in the various tragedies watching the game we all love

I'm not sure everybody will get the answers they want today. Watching the news and listening to the radio many families involved seem to want different things from the report, some want closure, some want somebody to blame others want more but what that is I'm not sure. A few want Liverpool supporters removed from any blame with what happened I'm not sure how this can happen I wonder if they will show an official timeline of events.
