As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Has anyone tried getting in to different gates at the Grove then on your ticket?
I was under the impression that it worked for the one gate only (for me D), until a mate to tell me that you can use the one either side? (So C & D) This worked!
I've also heard you can use gates either side of those A & B and E & F?
I've never tried in fear of jinxing the game. Haha!
It wouldn't surprise me that, barring the away end, you can use any gate. Anyone know?
I don't think you can. I tried to go in through a gate at the Clock End a couple of years ago to meet some friends for a beer before the game but I couldn't. Nearly freaked out because I thought my card wasn't activated

i expect
Martinez
Yennaris Djourou Squiddly Santos
Coquelin
Walnutt Eisfeld Arshavin
Giroud
Hope to see some of the good youngsters on the bench, Mainly Chuba Akpom seems he looks like he is playing really well for the u21's
I know Coventry isn't the strongest, but should we really play them with only 10 men?

If the missing name is Chamakh then we might as well start with 10
According to SSN craig eastmond to join colchester on loan
Eastmond is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at the Emirates and has made 10 appearances in the first-team since progressing through the club's Academy
The above taken off SSN website
I would have put this on the rumours thread but is seems to be locked

So the kid has now gone out to the mighty Millwall, Wycombe and now Colchester - but is still highly regarded. Moving down from a Championship loan to a struggling League 1 club via Wycombe hardly seems like progress
FFS, how long does it take with players like this (Randall and Jay Simpson) ? Do they need six loan moves before we realise they are not good enough.
In the defensive midfield position we have Arteta as first choice, and then two kids in Frimpong and Coquelin that are quite clearly ahead of Eastmond in the pecking order.
He is not going to be good enough for us - what has he shown when he has had those first team opportunities. Nothing.

Did you not read the bit about him being highly regarded within the corridors of power at the emirates this article could have been written by RED

Quite possibly. It'll be his dream midfield partnership along with "one of my favourite midfielders" Denilson. What with "excellent CB" Djourou behind him in the Mickey Mouse Cup we must be nailed on to win it. If only his mate Almunia was still here to share in the glory days
mcdowell42 wrote:Dont forget our only world class player Theo
You mean one third of the 'big three' along with RvP and wait for it.......Song
In fact Red will be having a field day tomorrow. No Chesney, Djourou back in the side, poor underpaid Theo and possibly even Arshavin who we all know from last season "deserves to start more games" (posted within a few days of everyone else ranting about him coming on in the Man U game and chucking away the points)
It appears Mannone has worked his way on to Red's big three players this season. Not sure who else makes the big 3 along with Theo these days but my guess is that it would be Giroud

What we really need instead is more stuff about singing more loudly and who should replace Wenger
That reminds me, where has Dan_85 got to with his megaphone
I think they do a great job on here
Im sure we could prise harry away from Bournemouth b4 he bankrupts them again, or was that pompey he bankrupted, maybe it was both im all confused now,if only there was someone who knows harry intimately on here who could enlighten me.
mcdowell42 wrote:Evertons starting line up tonight according to twitter does not contain any englishmen.
Something which caused hysteria when we first did it but something that Chelsea have subsequently done and now Everton. Probably a fair few in between as well.
In an age where Jordan Henderson costs the same as Santi Cazorla its probably hardly surprising
I'm hoping we field a youth team - with the addition of Giroud, who I thought kept the ball well on sunday (during his brief spell) he needs confidence and playing against a team like Conventry means he's bound to get a few chances on goal.
