Who will start in goal? Flappianski?
Flappy is still injured, so James Shea is on (goalkeeper no5).

Based on training photos:
Shea, Squillacci, Djourou, Yennaris,Santos, Chamakh, Walcott, Arshavin, Frimpong, Giroud.
I'm missing some midfielders (Coquelin?) but OX and JW10 were there too, so Jack will make his return tomorrow as a late sub maybe?

Be amazed if Wilshere even gets named as a sub. Think Wenger is trying to nurture him back with a couple of U-21 sub outings first. Probably the right approach too

Chavs beating Wolves 4-0

I bet John Cross is knocking one out as we speak.

I started following him on Twitter until he kept re-tweeting all their official team news and bashing the bishop over Hazard every 5 minutes......un-followed !

I've always thought that going to Coventry was much worse than being sent there !

Went to Highfield Road when we lost 3-2 in about 1999, completely compounded by the fact that Coventry has probably changed little since the Germans dropped several kilotons of bombs on it in WW2.

Best thing about this game is that it isn't being streamed live, so we are at least spared the WOB whinging in real time, if we aren't 10-0 up by half time :D

Small mercies :barscarf:

I would play:-

Martinez, Yennaris, Djourou, Miquel, Santos, Coquelin, Ramsey, Eisfeld, Walcott, Giroud, Gnabry

Wouldn't waste a spot in the XI on Arshavin and Chamakh, what's the point?

Will be interesting to see what Arsharvins attitude will be tonight.
Put a shift in and destroy a poor team and try to force his way back into first team contention or stroll around like he doesnt give a shit and thinking he shouldnt be playing in this competition....i fear it will be the latter.

Squillachi and Djourou the likely CB pairing, with the Camel up front on his own.

What price were Coventry to win again ?

think Miquel will start ahead of mr.Squiddy.

11 Andre Santos
12 Olivier Giroud
14 Theo Walcott
15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
18 Sebastien Squillaci
20 Johan Djourou
22 Francis Coquelin
23 Andrey Arshavin
26 Emmanuel Frimpong
29 Marouane Chamakh
36 Damian Martinez
38 Martin Angha
40 Hector Bellerin
46 Thomas Eisfeld
47 Serge Gnabry
54 Ignasi Miquel
60 James Shea
64 Nico Yennaris

Since there's no Eastmond ( gladly) in the squad for tonight, I think Yennaris will actually play down the mid, with another player going as an improvised RB

Arshavin now there's an interesting conundrum...Arsene Wenger, who has been 'hamstrung' by the board, can afford to keep a £17 million Russian international 'reserve' who he only wheels out for Carling Cup matches against rubbish League 1 sides. How many other clubs can afford to do this? :rubchin:
Self-sustainability indeed....
