RIP Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

But seriously, this guy was pointed out to me back in the 80's. How old was he? Was loved by the locals in Finchley.

Sad loss. RIP. :(

a local funeral directors confirmed he had passed, they are arranging the funeral. apparently he went to whittington hospital for some checkups with his sister (he had been quite ill and weak for a while), he collapsed and passed away. he wasn't all that old.

terrible shame. such a gentle giant, an all round nice guy who said "the best of luck" to everyone. i dont read facebook often but had a look at the group set up in his memory, the funeral director said he has been inundated with hundreds of calls from people wanting to go to the funeral. much loved.

Most towns have these types of characters in Harlow there is a bloke called TigerMan who dresses in army camo clothing and a beret and looks out for Tigers in the town (He does a good job none spotted on his watch yet   ) and he's always up the town centre dancing to the pan pipe people :D he is like a local celeb. and has facebook page and youtube videos about him when he eventually goes there will be a massive turn out i imagine

R.I.P. Horace

Was a lovely old guy in Aya Napa back in 2002 that wore an old army uniform and beret. Had a horrific scar from a gunshot wound on his head. Locals and tourists looked out for him. 8)
