Yes, just as long as after every victory over Southampton, Norwich or Olympiacos you lot can post in your own "We told you so" thread, that's just finehugh jardon wrote:Can we make this thread a sticky for the season and rename it "Knee jerk reaction thread" so people can add to it after every defeat?
Which "promising striker" is doing well in French league?

yeah or how about a 'Ramsey is still shit' thread.......we can just update it each year till he retires or we sell him to a Championship team??

He is a player I am beginning to despise, he is absolutely shite and always has been.TeeCee wrote:yeah or how about a 'Ramsey is still shit' thread.......we can just update it each year till he retires or we sell him to a Championship team??
Everytime he starts a game we play poorly. And every good performance we have his absence from the starting line up shines out like a fucking beacon.

I love the patented Ramsey reaction after another pathetic "attempt" on goal disappears out of the stadium. I think you know the one, teeth clenched "oh, so close...get it next time". No Aaron, not close, not even close to close. Please, amongst other things, take time in training to learn how to shoot.
Re: Which "promising striker" is doing well in French league
Look, there is nothing knee-jerk about this. As I said in OP, the worrying pattern is emerging...for last three seasons Arsenal seem to be signing 'one season wonder' strikers from Ligue1 and as this policy somehow keeps our poor skint club afloathugh jardon wrote:Can we make this thread a sticky for the season and rename it "Knee jerk reaction thread" so people can add to it after every defeat?

Or you perhaps think that Arsenal and not Chavs, for instance, will sign Falcao.

And for the record, I was at the game today and Gervihno is ABSOLUTE SHITE and so is Girourd.
So who is doing well in Ligue1 atm, apart from Zlatan, who we "cannot afford"?
SteveO I've just had an interesting phone convo with a French pal, big Marseille fan.
He absolutely insists that Chamakh is a better footballer than Giroud. And I agree. Least Chamakh buried sitters when he got here. The name that keeps banging on in my head is that of Andre-Pierre Gignac! Who Wenger came very close to signing...ended up at Marseille. He's no better than Jeffers FFS.
Wondering if Heskey might have scored more goals than Giroud, when presented with the same chances...

In any case I'm opting for Kevin Gameiro or Andre Ayew next year.
Gilles Grimandi is doing a superb job on his reputed massive wages...

I'm sure they all have 'great technical quality' and are 'winners', 'intelligent' and have a 'very good spirit'

"Arsenal are on the trail of Guingamp midfielder Gianelli Imbula, 20"
There you go, that's what all that fat transfer pot and ST mega-money is going on maybe!
How long will we need to give him as an adaptation period do you reckon? If he shows he couldn't pass wind, let alone a football, do you think we'll be told its "knee jerk" and that "he needs a run of games"?
